Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) – Hiring of Individual Consultants

The Government of Pakistan, under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), has announced a Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for the hiring of Individual Consultants as part of the Social Protection Development Project (SPDP), supported by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) through Loan No. 3837–PAK.

Purpose:

The Government of Pakistan has secured a loan from ADB to enhance social protection services. BISP aims to utilize part of this funding to engage qualified and experienced national consultants for two key positions. Interested individuals must demonstrate eligibility and provide relevant documentation.

Available Positions and Requirements:

1. Regional Outreach Coordinator (Balochistan)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in Mass Communication from a foreign reputed university.

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years in a senior media management role, ideally in a governmental organization, international agency, or large-scale NGO.
• Proficient in media relations, crisis communication, and strategic communication planning.

2. Regional Outreach Coordinator (Federal Area - AJK)

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Urdu, with the ability to craft audience-specific messages.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Experience in digital media, social media management, and online engagement strategies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of socio-economic development issues, especially those related to poverty alleviation and social protection, is desirable.
